Christopher Nesi is certified in social studies (K-12) in the state of New Jersey. Christopher Nesi has inspired students at the middle and high school levels. Nesi enjoys incorporating established and new technology in his classroom. Nesi also tirelessly works to evolve his growing understanding of what it means to provide for the 21st century learner.

Christopher J. Nesi is certified in social studies (K-12) in the state of New Jersey and he has inspired students, as well as teachers, at the middle and high school levels. Technology and its role in education are his passion. Mr. Nesi is on the cutting edge of technology trends and how technology can be integrated into the classroom. Mr. Nesi is a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy educator who is never short on innovative ideas, energy, and or the desire to get involved in my school community.

Mr. Nesi has developed and presented professional development workshops to teachers and collegiate faculty and personnel about social media and connected learning. New technologies are always becoming available and he enjoys expanding educators' understanding and use of these innovations for personal and professional use.

Mr. Nesi is very active in the use and growth of his professional learning network allowing him to share thoughts and ideas with others and contribute to the many conversations happening in the world of education and technology.

Christopher Nesi is also the host of the House of #EdTech, a bi-weekly audio podcast. House of #EdTech is the podcast that explores how technology is changing the way teachers teach and the impact that technology is having in education. Whether you use it or not, technology is changing the way we teach and how our students learn.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Mr. Nesi brings a creative, passionate, and energetic approach to teaching and learning to his classrooms and schools. Additionally, Chris is a collaborative-minded, forward-thinking, and problem solving professional which benefits the entire school community.

PERSONAL HISTORY

Chris moved to New Jersey with his parents and younger brother when he was seven years old. Mr. Nesi a proud graduate of Spotswood High School (’99) where he could be seen on-stage as a member of the drama club and on the diamond as a 3-year member of the varsity baseball team.

Currently, Chris and his wife, Katelyn currently reside in Monmouth County (NJ) with their son Miles and rascal chihuahua, Bambi. They love riding their bikes to the beach, cooking great tasting meals and desserts, and spending time with their family and friends!

Chris also enjoys playing basketball, baseball, softball and he is a knowledgeable sports fan. He loves going to Yankees games and watching the Knicks, Rangers, and football Giants. In his limited free time Chris also enjoys graphic design, web design, and video editing.
